Pascal Payant is a seasoned leader in visual poetry. Based in Montreal and a man of many talents; he writes, produces and directs every aspect of his art. He graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal; majoring in Script & Psychological analysis in movies and has since amassed a world wide fan base as well as many collaborations. Pascal has gained the respect and admiration of international musicians willing to provide the perfect musical atmosphere for his films.

He has fascinated us all with his unequaled sense of dreamy, melancholic and romantic ambiances. His films exhibit extraordinary emotions – each more visually stunning than the last. It is through his skill and sensitivity as a human being that he is able to create such magical moments of cinema, highlighting the subtle nuances of the human condition. His movies have been widely received in both North American and International Film festivals including: Finland, Canada, Norway, Sweden and now Los Angeles festivals.

Pascal Payant is a unique artist and creator of sumptuous films. He is completely dedicated to his work. He finances his own films with or without the help of outside investors and shoots each and every scene with or without the help of a professional crew. Because of the ultra-low budget dedicated to each of his movies, his films always come in on time and within the given budget specifications. To help keep the budget manageable he assumes both pre-production and post-production roles as well as directing both principal and secondary photography including: writing of the script, casting the actors, location scouting, editing as well as other tasks necessary to see that the film is completed.

Sensitive to music, Pascal is constantly searching for songs that would compliment his films and create the perfect feeling and atmosphere for each of his project. Fortunately throughout the years, his work has been noticed and allowed him to collaborate with great music bands from around the globe.
